This book was a breath of fresh air. We all have struggles and we are are fighting ourselves in our day to day lives, this book reminds us of what our priorities are and should be. Guiding our lives with faith is the true route to happiness. This book does not solve your problems or give you definite answers and that's not what it's about, but it helps you to focus on what the important things in life are. Living the "rat race" leaves us exhausted and drained. Family, friends, and most importantly GOD are the true meaning of life. Inspirational stories and scripture left me feeling uplifted, not guilty. I recommend this read to anyone needing some peace in their day. It's comforting to know that I am not alone, and to not get caught up in my own head.

We all go through tough stuff throughout our lives. Its what molds us into the people that we are. This book is such a great reminder that God is right there with us as we endure each storm. He will never leave us or forsake us. Jen’s ability to pull out the good that comes from these circumstances is amazing! I loved the journaling throughout the book and truly feel like this is an amazing gratitude book! I am reminded to be grateful in all circumstances because there is always something to be grateful for! Sometimes you just need to take a moment to reflect on the good. 💞

This is a well written and easy to understand book. The Storm will help you through those difficult times we all go through. I refer back to it from time to time. This would make a great gift for anyone you care about. The format has you apply your real life challenges and helps you figure out that the Lord has a plan just for you. I love the life stories and what they really mean. I totally recommend this awesome book. The best book I’ve read in a long time.

After getting Jen's book, "The Storm" you will have acquired an official guide to start a Christian-based spiritual dialogue (although can help out anyone no matter what your beliefs are) to get you through any "storms" in your own life. Many people facing hardship feel confused, alone, and filled with doubts. A storm in life can rattle the best of us. Jen's "daily devotional" conversational writing style will help you place one foot in front of the other to assist people out of the calamity they are facing as if they have a friend to lean on. If you feel lost at sea, a captain unable to steer the ship, then this is a good book to inspire self-reflection, meditation, and good spiritual habits when facing the unknown.
